

BBA - British Board of Agreement
The BBA is an organisation partnered with Government and whose Governing Board includes representation on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. They provide authoritative and independent information on the performance of building products. Every Agreement Certificate contains important data on durability, installation and compliance with Building Regulations standards, as well as trade and industry specifications in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Fensa
With government encouragement, have set up FENSA - the Fenestration Self-Assessment scheme. Companies in the FENSA scheme will provide you with a certificate confirming that their windows comply with the new regulations. Installations by FENSA - registered companies are subject to random inspections by the schemes representatives.
British Fenestration Rating Council
The BFRC is the UK’s national system for rating Energy Efficient Windows. Not only are consumers increasingly asking for rated windows but the BFRC is boosting support for registered companies to help them maximise sales and raise awareness.
Secured by Design
Secured by Design is the UK Police flagship initiative supporting the principles of "designing out crime" by use of effective crime prevention and security standards for a range of applications.
BSI
BSI British Standards is the UK's National Standards Body (NSB) and was the world's first. It represents UK economic and social interests across all of the European and international standards organizations and through the development of business information solutions for British organizations of all sizes and sectors. BSI British Standards works with manufacturing and service industries, businesses, governments and consumers to facilitate the production of British, European and international standards.
The Council for Aluminium in Building
The Council for Aluminium in Building’s aim is to support the interests of the architectural aluminium industry by encouraging the increasing use of aluminium products in architecture and in the construction industry as a whole. Members of the Council for Aluminium in Building are involved in all stages of construction, extrusion and design of systems, fabrication of products, finishing, production of associated products and final installation on site.
