Beaufort recognises that environmental issues and sustainability are of paramount long term importance. We are actively involved in the promotion of the environmental advantages of aluminium and work with all stakeholders in the supply chain to maximise effective recycling. This ranges from 80% recycling of waste from the extrusion process.

Environmental Statement

Beaufort Secure Design regards compliance with specific legislative and regulatory requirements and the promotion of environmental protection in general, as a material objective of management and employees at all levels, and will take all practical steps to:

 * Ensure that all its activities are carried out in conformance with the relevant environmental legislation.

 * Minimise waste, promote recycling and reduce energy consumption.

 * Establish a reputation for effective environmental management

 * Work with suppliers and contractors who have high and sound environmental performance standards.

 * Undertake regular environmental audits of its activities.

In order to ensure the achievement of the above commitments, the organisation has implemented an environmental management system which satisfies the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001 : 2004.
